Farhan Ali Waris

Farhan Ali Waris (Urdu: فرحان علی وارث) is a Pakistani Shia Muslim Noha, Naat and Manqabat reciter and artist. He started reciting Nohas at the age of seven. He is considered to be one of the most popular Noha Khuwans in Pakistan. Farhan Ali Waris was born on 25th March 1985 in a small town of Kotla Arab Ali Khan, Tehsil Piplan, District Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan. His father‘s name is Syed Waseem Ali and his mother‘s name is Syeda Zainab Fatima. He is the eldest among three siblings. At the age of seven, he was introduced to the art of reciting Nohas, Manqabats, and Naats by his father, who is also a Noha Khuwan. Farhan Ali Waris soon gained fame and rose to prominence in the Shia community with his soulful recitations. His style of reciting Nohas is unique and unforgettable. Farhan Ali Waris has recited Nohas in various countries including, India, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, United Arab Emirates, and many other countries. He has also recited Nohas in some of the most prestigious events and gatherings in the world including, the World Islamic Conference in Dubai, the International Seerat–un–Nabi Conference in Madina, and the Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran. Farhan Ali Waris has also released several albums, including, ‘Behtar Se Mera Watan’, ‘Wohi Judaai Ka Gham’, ‘Jashn–e–Azaadi’ and ‘Shaam–e–Ghariban’.
